We inquired with Mattel's legal department looking for any remnants of the Mongo Bat. Here's the response we got from Mattel.

Hi Jerry,

Your email was forwarded to me as I handle permission requests that the company receives.

I have looked online and in all our databases and cannot find a listing for a Mongo bat.

Are there any markings on the bat? A copyright notice or something in the mold of the plastic?

Any information you can provide me with is appreciated. If we did indeed make the bat but no longer manufacture, I have been told that we do not retain molds/tooling and that they are normally destroyed.
